Lake Level Call to Action

Let's Save the Lake
Lake Tapps Community Council's "Call to Action"!

This call to action is in the Lake Tapps Community’s interest to protect the recreational water levels of Lake Tapps.   In two to three weeks the Washington State of Ecology will be making a ruling as to a water rights permit for Lake Tapps for whomever owns the Lake in the future.  Currently, Cascade Water Alliance is purchasing the lake and is lobbying heavily for a water rights permit that seriously jeopardizes the recreational water levels within Lake Tapps in order to provide water to the parties of the Alliance for drinking water.  Bottom line:  We need you to write letters informing the government as to the impact to you, if the water levels were not maintained at the pre-established recreational levels.
