Tapps Island is located in the top ranking Dieringer School District, serving grades K-8.  There are two elementary schools, Lake Tapps Elementary, on the west side of  the lake, and Dieringer Heights Elementary located on the east side of Lake Tapps.  North Tapps Middle School is located at the North end of the lake.  Students may choose to attend any of the local high schools in the area.  School websites are listed below.
